Islamabad : Pakistan military has reportedly killed 104 militants in the ongoing operations in two tribal agencies, close to Afghan border.
Citing military officials, local ARY news channel reported that troops have killed at least 104 militants in Khyber and Orakzai tribal agencies.
It said that the military jets bombed suspected militant hideouts in the two agencies.
In Khyber region, said the channel, about 45 militants were killed and over 70 others were wounded.
While in the Orakzai tribal belt, the channel said about 54 militants, including a wanted commander, were killed and dozens wounded.
Moreover, about five militants and a civilian were killed and four wounded in a fire exchange with paramilitary troopers in South Waziristan tribal agency, the channel reported.
