New Delhi : The sun played hide and seek in Delhi Thursday with the weather office expecting slight rain and thundershowers in some areas.
“A partly cloudy sky is expected. Rains and thundershowers may occur in some areas during the day,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The minimum temperature was normal for this time of the season at 27.4 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was expected to hover around 30.2 degrees.
The maximum humidity level was 97 percent and the minimum was 78 percent. “Humidity levels are very high and will remain so for some days more,” the official said.
The total recorded rain for this season till Friday morning was 320 mm.
