New Delhi : Two six-coach Delhi Metro trains will be operational on the Dwarka-Noida and Dwarka-Anand Vihar routes from late Thursday.
A statement by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said: “The DMRC will be inducting two six-car trains for passenger service on Line 3 (Dwarka Sector 21 – Noida City Centre) and Line 4 (Dwarka Sector 21 – Anand Vihar) from 9.30 p.m. onwards today (Thursday).”
The induction process caused some delay in the running of the trains on the route Thursday morning.
“There are specific stopping points of our four-coach trains on the platforms but once the six-coach trains come, the points will change. To get passengers used to the change, the stopping points have been changed on the platforms of this route from this (Thursday) morning itself,” a DMRC official said.
“This process has caused some delay in the running of trains, but it will be ironed out soon,” the official added.
