Israelis arrest Palestanians on their way to work

By KUNA,

Ramallah : Israeli occupation authorities have arrested 70 Palestinians in Bait Hour Al-Tahta near Ramallah while on their way to work on claims they had no permits to work in Israel, according to Israeli media on Sunday.

Since the year 2000, Israeli occupation authorities tightened the grip on entry of Palestinian workers.
The Secertary-General and Head of Palestanian workers, Shaher Saad, in a statement today, condemned the Israeli occupation authorities for arresting workers on claims of not having work permits.k He affirmed that Israel was after the perpetuation of poverty and unemployment in Palestanian lands and undermining the construction of a palestinian state.

“Israel violates all international accords, including the Fourth Geneva Convention, which obliges the provision of employment opportunities for the people,” he added.

The Secretary-General called for the United Nations and Human rights organizations to intervene to stop the practices of Israelis on the Palestanians.
