Bhubaneswar : Two Maoists have been arrested in Orissa, police said Thursday.
“Maoist leader Marshal Munda has been arrested. He was arrested during a combing operation” in Sundergarh district, said Sudarshan Sethy, sub divisional police officer.
According to police, Marshal Munda was allegedly involved in the killing of a trade union leader Thomas Munda in the district two weeks ago.
In another incident, a woman Maoist was arrested by Sambalpur police.
Police are refusing to disclose when exactly the two were arrested.
