Mumbai : The body of a 13-year-old student was found hanging in the rest room of a prestigious school here early Monday.
A high-ranking official of the Shardashram Boys High School in Dadar West told IANS that the body of Class 7 student Eknath Patil was found hanging from a nylon rope in the school toilet.
“Yes, the incident has happened in the boys’ secondary section of the school. We have rushed here after hearing of the tragedy, but we have no details,” he said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The official said that the matter is being investigated by police who are looking at all angles, including suicide.
