New Delhi : A 21-year-old woman died of swine flu here Monday, taking the toll due to the deadly H1N1 virus in the city to 73, a health department official said.
“The woman died at Ambedkar Hospital. She was spastic and her lungs were badly affected,” Anjana Prakash, Delhi’s assistant nodal officer for swine flu, told IANS.
Delhi also reported 34 new swine flu cases Monday. Of these, six are children. The total number of people affected with the influenza in the city now stands at 9,481.
