New Delh: Three more people have died of swine flu in the national capital, taking the toll due to the deadly H1N1 virus in the city to 76, officials said Wednesday.
Anjana Prakash, Delhi’s assistant nodal officer for swine flu, told IANS that the deaths took place at the Jaipur Golden hospital between Dec 8 and 14 last year.
“There was some confusion but the hospital has sent a detailed report confirming the deaths,” she said.
Delhi reported 13 new swine flu cases Wednesday, taking the cumulative cases to 9,508. Of these one was a child. The first swine flu death in the country took place in August last year.
