New Delhi : Armed Maoists hacked to death two persons, engaged in farming and money lending business in Orissa state’s Koraput district.
Over 30 ultras stormed village Katulpeta in the Bandhugaon police station area at midnight last night and dragged the two out of their houses before killing them, PTI reported quoting police. The rebels put up posters and banners on the village walls in support of their activitiy before disappearing into a nearby forest.
Additional forces had been rushed to the area and patrolling there intensified. An investigation into the incident is in progress.
