Melbourne : India’s Somdev Devvarman rallied from a set down for a fighting 2-6, 6-1, 8-6 win over German Tobias Kamke in the second round of Australian Open tennis men’s qualifiers at Melbourne Park here Friday.
The 27th-seeded Indian next plays 12th-seeded Slovak Blaz Kavcic who dispatched Goran Tosic of Montenegro 6-2, 6-2.
Somdev is the lone surviving Indian in the fray with Prakash Amritraj losing in the second round Thursday.
