New Delhi : Veteran politician Arjun Singh, who was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here with abdominal pain and mild chest congestion, is being investigated by doctors, hospital authorities said Saturday.
“He was admitted to AIIMS with abdominal pain and mild chest congestion yesterday. But all his vital parameters are now normal,” a senior doctor at AIIMS told IANS.
“He is being investigated by a team of doctors. His condition is stable. But he is going to stay in our hospital for a few more days,” the doctor added.
Doctors have conducted a number of tests on the 80-year-old leader and the results are awaited. Singh was admitted to a private ward in the department of medicine.
In the last United Progressive Alliance government, Singh was the human resource development minister.
