Shimla : The mercury rose marginally in Himachal Pradesh Wednesday even as the higher reaches continued to reel under sub-zero temperatures.
Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district saw a rise in night temperature. It recorded a low of minus 9.7 degrees, a rise of 0.4 degree from Tuesday, the Met office here said.
Kalpa, a picturesque town 250 km from here, recorded a night temperature of minus 4 degrees Celsius.
Sundernagar in Mandi district recorded a minimum of 4.3 degrees Celsius while it was 5.7 degrees Celsius in Dharamsala and 2.5 degrees Celsius in Bhuntar in Kullu district.
These towns Tuesday saw minimum temperatures at 2.5 degrees, 6.1 degrees and 2.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Shimla witnessed another pleasant sunny day Wednesday. The minimum temperature was 5.1 degree Celsius.
The Met department said dry weather would continue in the mid-hills but the higher reaches could see snowfall Thursday.
