Chennai: On Human Rights violation in Kashmir, which has been mounting extremely since more than a month, TMMK cadres conducted a rally near Panagal Park, Saidapet, Chennai condemning the acts of atrocities. It was led by Prof.Jawahirullah, the president of the party.
In his condolence address, witnessed by a huge gathering, the Professor spoke that Kashmir being a charming valley has been under the political suppression of the State Government of Kashmir. Both army and police are unleashed over the people of Kashmir, not meeting their legitimate and democratic demands. The mass killing of the children, women and senior citizens are unbridled and is a notorious example for the rule of the gun and fire. It’s to wonder whether that the State Chief Minister is serious and bent over setting gallows to the youths of tender age such as 13 to 16, and 20-25 and above, and such indulgence being witnessed right from the beginning of January to June of the current year. All of them are innocent inhabitants of the valley. They are all victimized in the garb of infiltrators and particularly three youths have been staged as encounter killings, and quite farce and fake.
Perhaps the forces deployed may be aspiring awards by mere showing numbers of their fake killing as encounters and only to please the governments. The teens of Sophians have been raped, bullets are mercilessly showered on the young men and it is the gauche and far fetched to human conscience and ethics of popular ruling. These acts in a part of India which is so far being celebrated as immaculate is losing values and strands our noble democracy and media is gagged.
Last Friday Muslims could not say their Jumma Prayers in Jamia Masjid in Srinagar and also in all other mosques over the area. Such acts speak louder the violation and deprivation of Constitutional rights. The Prime Minister has spoken on finding immediate and novel methods to find a solution for the problem. It should never stand a sheer verbose and insipid, without any fruitful results. Those who are responsible for killing the innocent should be brought to books and tasks. The special task force stationed in Kashmir valley exceeds its limits. The fundamental rights are being seized .The religious obligations (of Muslims) are denied. Thus spoke Prof.Jawahirullah.
