Bhopal : As many as 16 people drowned when a boat in which they were travelling capsized in the Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh’s Sehore district Wednesday, police said.
All the victims belonged to Dehri village in the district.
Eight bodies have been recovered so far but remained yet unidentified while the search is on for others, police said.
Divers have been pressed into service to search for the bodies of the remaining victims.
