Abu Dhabi : Italian President Giorgio Napolitano has honoured UAE businessman Obeid Saleh Al Nuaimi with the “Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity” for his contribution in strengthening trade ties between the two nations.
UAE Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Tuesday attended a ceremony hosted by Italian Ambassador to the UAE Paolo Dionisi in honour of Al Nuaimi at the Park Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Senior officials of both countries attended the event.
Al Nuaimi said: “This honour is a message of love, appreciation and friendship from the president, government and people of Italy to the UAE.”
