New Delhi : Robbers looted cash and jewellery worth Rs.45 lakh from a businessman’s house in north Delhi Wednesday, police said.
According to police, the robbery took place at 7.30 a.m. in Sudarshan Jain’s house in Roop Nagar.
“Jain, his wife and children live on the first floor of the house while his mother stays in the ground floor. She was not present in the house at the time of the incident,” a police official said.
The police said that Jain’s domestic help found the door of the ground floor residence open and the house ransacked.
