Berlin : Three-fourth of Germans are not happy with the performance of the government of Chancellor Angela Merkel, comprised of her Christian Democrats and her junior coalition partner, the liberal Free Democrats.
According to a survey, released Friday by Germany’s ARD public television network, some 72 percent of those questioned criticized the work of the government which has been recently involved in a series of disputes over health and social welfare reforms, tax cuts, Afghanistan and the future of nuclear energy.
Only 27 percent of Germans said they were satisfied with their government.
