Thiruvananthapuram : HCL Infosystems will set up its first unit in Kerala at the Technopark campus here.
Technopark Chief Executive Mervin Alexander told reporters here Saturday that HCL will set up a R&D unit on a two-acre plot in the Technopark campus.
The third phase of the Technopark, dedicated to IT ventures, is coming up in an area of 92 acres, of which 22 acres would be given out to those who need their own campuses.
“IBM officials have also had a few round of talks with us and we expect that they too would be setting up shop here,” said Alexander.
IT majors Infosys and Wipro have already set up their offices in the state.
