By TCN News,

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Federation of Churches (APFC), which is a state level body of the Catholic Bishops and other Bishops/Heads of Churches of all Christian Denominations, has called for peace and communal harmony after the coming Ayodhya verdict.

The APFC held its Managing Committee meeting on Sep. 29, 2010 at St John’s Regional Seminary, Hyderabad, and passed a resolution for peace.

“APFC appeals to all the citizens to maintain peace and calm on the occasion of delivery of the judgment by the Allahabad High Court on the Ayodhya Issue. This is the time to manifest communal harmony and respect for all religions which is the ethos of our Indian Civilization. We urge the Christian Community and others to continue pray to the God of Love and Mercy to bestow the gift of Peace to our beloved nation,” the APFC said in a statement released today by Rev. Bishop Gali Bali, General Secretary of APFC and Rt Rev. Bishop G. Dyvasirvadam, President of APFC.
