Patna: Apparently there is nothing in the Patna air that can worry one. But the district administration is not taking any chance and thus has deployed armed security personnel in sensitive areas, particularly in Patna City. Civil society is not silent. It is doing its bid for peace.
About hundred school children hit streets in Patna City area this morning, shouting slogans for peace and communal harmony. The students of Rose Vale Oxbridge school were holding a peace march in the leadership of their teachers while armed policemen were visible at every roundabout.
“We want that country respect the court order with peace and patience. If any party is not ready to accept the order there is an option to approach the Supreme Court, but the peace and communal harmony and unity must not be disturbed at any cost,” said head teacher of the school while leading the marchers.
Yesterday, armed forces had staged a flag march in Patna City and other areas in a bid to instill a sense of security in the residents.
