The ED would like to question Iqbal Singh in connection with the recommendation made by him for Hasan Ali Khan to get a passport.

According to the OSD, Amlendu Pandey, a Congress leader in Bihar, had approached Iqbal Singh when he was a Rajya Sabha member (between 1992-1998) with a request to help a person known to him to get a passport urgently to get treated abroad.
