Tehran : Iran’s intelligence minister Heidar Moslehi stepped down Sunday, with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accepting his resignation.
He was the head of the Iranian ministry of intelligence since Aug 5, 2009.
However, in a presidential decree, Ahmadinejad appointed Moslehi as his advisor in intelligence affairs, Press TV reported.
Ahmadinejad is yet to name a caretaker for the intelligence ministry.
