Gaza : A group of extremist Jews attacked a number of Palestinian children in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem Sunday night using sticks and gas against the youth.
Local radio stations quoted eyewitnesses Monday morning saying, “scores of extremist Jews attacked a number of Palestinian children after performing religious rites at a shrine they had overtaken by force in the neighborhood.” The witnesses added that the extremists also threw stones on the inhabitants of the neighborhood and sprayed gas into the children’s eyes.
They further pointed out that scuffles had ensued between the people in the neighborhood and the attacker group, which was followed by the arrival of an Israeli Police force to the scene to protect the settlers.
