Islamabad : Nearly 6,000 people gathered in Pakistan’s port city of Karachi to sing the national anthem and set a new world record, a media report said.
A total of 5,885 people gathered at the Defence Stadium Saturday midnight to simultaneously sing the anthem to mark the country’s 65th independence day.
They beat the previous record of 5,248 set by the Philippines Sep 1, 2009, Geo News reported.
