Bhopal : A tour operator who was beaten allegedly by Bajrang Dal activists five days ago died in a hospital here Wednesday, police said.
Bhagchand had accused Bhopal Bajrang Dal leader Sushil Sudaile of harassing him for money and had conducted a sting operation that backed his allegations.
As the local media lapped up the story, Bajrang Dal activists thrashed Bhagchand Feb 4 night injuring him seriously. He was shifted to a hospital where he died Wednesday.
Police inspector Nagedra Pateria confirmed to IANS that the tour operator had succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made so far.
