Quiz contest on the life of Prophet in Aurangabad

Beed (Maharashtra): A Quiz contest will be organised for English medium students on the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by Jamia Shabab Educational and Welfare Society and daily Aurangabad Times on 23rd January 2011. Students from Class VI to IX and Class XI can take part in the contest.

Meanwhile, Maulana Riyazuddin Farooqi released a book on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) here. Dr. Maqdoom Farooqi, Principal Maulana Azad College, Aurangabad was chief guest.

Speaking at the programme Dr. Maqdoom Farooqi said that the life of Prophet Muhammed is like a beacon of light and today the world is in dire need his teachings of love peace and brotherhood.

At this programme Imam Zakir Nadvi, Maulana Rashid Farooqi, Abdul Hameed Khan, Syed Shafiq Milli, Shaikh Numan Nadvi were present.

Talking about the quiz contest, Maulana Rashid Farooqi said that there will be 50 multiple choice questions. Students from Class VI to IX and Class XI can take part in the contest. The results of the contest will be declared on 29th January.
