Islamabad : Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar has briefed Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani about her trip to New Delhi this month for talks with her Indian counterpart.
Khar is set to travel to India as Pakistan’s new foreign minister for a meeting with S.M. Krishna July 27.
The Associated Press of Pakistan reported that Khar’s meeting with Gilani took place Monday.
She also discussed matters relating to the upcoming ASEAN Regional Forum meeting scheduled July 22-23 at Bali, Indonesia.
India and Pakistan have resumed their dialogue process that got suspended after the 2008 terror attack on Mumbai by Pakistani terrorists.
