New Delhi : The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corp (DSIIDC) will execute several prestigious projects in the coming years, its chairman Chetan Sanghi said.
These will include a Knowledge Based Industrial Park, construction and development of industrial plots, building houses, takeover of industrial estates from other civic agencies and setting up a manufacturing hub.
The DSIIDC will hand over 4,350 industrial plots at Bhorgarh for those relocated from other parts of Delhi. It will complete construction in over 12,000 plots in Bawana, Sanghi said in a statement.
Sanghi said that more than 27,000 houses were to come up at Pooth Khurd and Tikri under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).
Work will be initiated to develop a manufacturing hub at Rani Khera, spread over 154 acres, at an estimated cost of Rs. 2,000 crore. The Knowledge Based Industrial Park at Baprola will cost Rs.1,200 crore.
Sanghi said the corporation will go for PPP (private public partnership) based maintenance of four industrial estates at Bawana, Narela, Okhla and Patparganj.
It has signed the contract for Bawana and Narela maintenance for 15 years at a cost of Rs.30 crore per year.
DSIIDC will take over 28 industrial estates from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Delhi Development Authority. This will involve infrastructure development which could cost Rs.1,300 crore over the next five years, he said.
