New Delhi : Sunil Mitra, hitherto secretary in the department of revenue, is the new finance secretary, the government said Wednesday.
Mitra succeeds Sushama Nath who retired May 31, said the Ministry of Finance in a statement.
Mitra is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1975 batch from the West Bengal cadre.
