New Delhi: Delhi Health Minister A.K. Walia Thursday instructed the 13 government hospitals to issue pending disability certificates to the people concerned with seven days.
The minister also asked officials to include eight more hospitals in the list of those which can issue these certificates for the convenience of the disabled.
“The hospitals must take every possible step to ensure the applicants get the certificates within the stipulated time of seven days,” Walia told officials at a meeting, according to a statement.
The minister also asked officials to conduct special camps for this purpose and carry out a proper publicity campaign before it so that people come to know about the facility.
