New Delhi : The 16-year-old boy, stabbed to death by a group of his friends Saturday, lost his life for complaining to the parents of one of his friends over an unpaid loan, police said Monday.
Yash Singhal, a Class 10 student of the Cambridge School in Sriniwaspuri area, was beaten up and knifed to death in south Delhi.
“Yash had given Rs.2,500 to one of the friends in December. About a month and half back, he complained to the parents of his friend, enraging him,” said Additional Commissioner of Police Virender Singh Chail.
Chail said the attackers were Yash’s friends and were from two different schools.
Yash, brought to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after he was knifed, made a dying declaration naming the assailants after which they were detained.
