Moscow: Japanese hit by last week’s 9.0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami could move to Siberia, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev suggested Friday.
“We should think about making use of our neighbour’s work potential – especially in thinly populated areas of Siberia,” he said from his residence in Gorky, outside of Moscow, according to the news agency Interfax.
Russia had offered room in its clinics for those injured in the earthquake, Medvedev added.
