BJP to hold conclave of its chief ministers

New Delhi : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a two-day conclave of its chief ministers here May 9-10 to share experiences of successful schemes and to discuss “step-motherly” treatment of BJP-ruled states by the United Progressive Alliance government.

“UPA’s wanton disregard for the federal structure and its recent attempts at politicising the proceedings of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will also feature in the discussion at this conclave,” BJP leader Jagat Prakash Nadda said.

“Agenda for this conference also includes step-motherly treatment to BJP-ruled states by UPA government,” he said.

The BJP is the ruling party in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Jharkhand and junior partner in Bihar and Punjab governments.
