New Delhi : A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death and his brother injured in a fight in West Delhi, police said Friday. A 25-year-old man has been held for the murder.
Sewa Lal and his brother Mewa Lal got into a fight with Bal Mukund at Bakkarwala in Mundka area of west Delhi, said Additional Commissioner of Police V. Renganathan.
Mukund alleged that Mewa Lal incited a street dog to fight with his pet dog. The fight turned ugly and Mukund’s grandson Raj Kumar stabbed Sewa Lal on the chest and Mewa Lal on the legs.
Both the brothers were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital where Sewa Lal succumbed to his injuries and Mewa Lal is recuperating.
“Kumar was arrested soon after and the weapon used in the crime recovered,” said the officer.
