Lucknow: For Mohd. Zia Arif, a student from City Montessori School, (CMS) Rajajipuram, it was the biggest day in life as he scored 98 percent in Class 12th of ICSE board, which was recorded as highest in the 20 branches of his school. Official confirmation about city’s topper was not released by the board but after checking with most of the ISC schools, his marks remained the highest. When Zia reached CMS Gomtinagar Auditorium, everyone welcomed him with warm hugs.
After the class 12th results of ICSE board were declared, many students were seen in joyous mood as they scored meritorious positions. Many students across the city started celebrating just after they saw the results.

Zia Arif said: “I was with my parents when my result was about to be declared but when I saw the result, I remained stunned for a while. My father, who is an engineer, had specially come home for me as I was nervous before viewing the result.” He added that now when he has successfully cleared the intermediate part with good marks, he would be heading for his dream that is IIT. Adding to it, he also said that he had recently written papers of IIT-JEE, which he is confident he will clear. He wants to become an engineer as he is very much inspired from his father.
