State BJP president Khimi Ram told IANS that action against Sushant, the MP from Kangra, was taken for violating party discipline.

“He has been cautioned but he did not desist from issuing statements. But he would continue to hold party membership,” he added.

For quite some time, Sushant was openly criticising Dhumal.

A minister in the previous Dhumal government in 1998, Sushant has demanded ‘narco-analysis’ test of Dhumal and his cabinet ministers over corruption.

Sushant had also threatened to issue a list of corrupt people, occupying high positions in the state. He has even threatened to resign as MP.
