India declare first innings at 631/7 in second Test

Kolkata : India declared their first innings at 631 for seven in the second cricket Test against the West Indies at the Eden Gardens here Tuesday.

V.V.S. Laxman was unbeaten on 176 and Ravichandran Ashwin on four when India declared their first innings, 3.2 overs after the tea break. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni smashed 144 off 175 balls.
