New Delhi: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani will conclude his 40-day Jan Chetna Yatra — to draw public attention to the issues of black money and corruption — with a public rally in the capital Sunday.

The rally, to be held at the Ramlila grounds at 11 a.m., will be attended by top BJP leaders including Nitin Gadkari and Ananth Kumar and leaders of opposition in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley, respectively.

Janata Dal-United president Sharad Yadav, Akali Dal leader Parkash Singh Badal and other National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders are also expected to address the rally. The NDA leaders are likely to slam the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government on the issues of corruption, black money and inflation, BJP sources said.

The Jan Chetna Yatra, which began from Sitabdiara in Bihar, the native village of veteran socialist leader Jayaprakash Narayan Oct 11, will be reaching the national capital after passing through 22 states and five union territories.

The yatra will arrive in Ghaziabad, neighbouring Delhi, Saturday night, BJP leaders said here. Advani will address a public meeting in the town, which falls in the Lok Sabha constituency of former BJP chief Rajnath Singh.
