Agartala : An 18-year-old has given birth to triplets in a government hospital in Tripura, a health official said Sunday.
“Basana Debbarma, 18, delivered three sons at the Teliamura gramin hospital in western Tripura, 45 km north of here, late Saturday night,” an official told reporters here.
Two babies weighed around 1.3 kg each while the third one weighed 800 grams. The mother and the three newborns were stated to be doing well.
