Bangkok : Some 600 people have died in the worst floods in over 50 years in Thailand, Xinhua reported.
Eighteen provinces are still reeling under floods, while 46 other provinces are on the way to recovery, the disaster prevention department.
Vast tracks of land in Thailand remained submerged following the heavy monsoon rains that triggered floods.
Some 5.3 million people have been affected.
