Beijing : China’s railways carried a record 67.3 million passengers during the holiday period from Sep 28 to Oct 7, Xinhua reported Saturday.
The figure was up 5.8 percent compared to the corresponding period last year, the railways ministry said. About 2,450 additional trains operated during the period.
