Abu Dhabi : Labour and social welfare ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have begun their 28th meeting in Abu Dhabi.
UAE Minister of Labour Saqr Ghobash is presiding over the meeting, which will discuss labour issues that require common policies to live up to the aspirations of the Council.
Increasing opportunities for the nationalisation of jobs, a common policy on human trafficking and forced labour are also on the agenda of the meeting.
Delegates from the GCC Secretariat General and the Executive Office of the GCC Council of Labour Ministers are also taking part in the meeting.
