An introduction of 21st Sunni Dawate Islami Ijtema

Mumbai: The 21st Annual International Sunni Ijtema (Three Day Congregation) to be organized by Sunni Dawate Islami will be held at Azad Maidan (rechristened as ‘Wadie Noor’ by the organizer for the ijtema period) in Mumbai from 21st Oct – 23rd Oct 2011. Sunni Dawate Islami is a non-political religious organization founded in 1991 under the leadership of Maulana Mohammed Shakir Ali Noorie.

The ijtema will run for three days – the first day is exclusive for women. All three days basics of Islam will be taught to the audience.
