New Delhi : Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal Thursday pleaded for the man who attacked him in Luncknow Tuesday and urged his employer not to throw him out.
Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Kejriwal said he was trying to get in touch with his attacker Jitendra Pathak’s employer Ravindra Singh to urge him to take Pathak back.
“He should not be thrown out of his job, and his house should not be taken away. He committed violence, but firing him from his job and taking his house is also violence,” Kejriwal said.
“If violence is replied by violence he will have hatred…we have to remove his hatred,” he said.
Kejriwal also said that the attack was politically motivated.
