Chennai : India Cements and CAG notched up full points with victories against State Bank of Mysore (SBM) and Bharat Petroleum, respectively, in their opening league fixtures of the third Airtel BCCI Corporate cricket tournament for the Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy here Thursday.
India Cements, after restricting SBM to 143, cruised to victory with seven wickets to spare as Subramaniam Badrinath scored a 61-ball 50 (6×4) and put on 94 runs for the third wicket with Dinesh Karthik (49 not out, 61b, 7×4).
In the other match, half-centuries by Puneet Bisht (80, 67b, 10×4, 3×6) and Arpit Vasavada (70 not out, 89b, 7×4) powered CAG to a seven-wicket win against Bharat Petroleum, for whom Vinit Indulkar (79, 85b, 6×4) was the top-scorer.

BPCL 240 for 7 in 50 overs (Vinit Indulkar 79, Sitanshu Kotak 46, Bhavin Thakkar 38, Bharat Lamba 3 for 43) lost to CAG 242 for 3 in 44.3 overs (Puneet Bisht 80, Arpit Vasavada 70 not out, Sumit Sharma 48 not out).
