Shimla : Former chief justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court P.C. Balakrishna Menon has passed away in Kochi, an official statement said here Sunday. He was 82.
Governor Urmila Singh and Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal have expressed grief.
Justice Menon, who died of heart failure Saturday, served as the chief justice of the high court from 1989 to 1991.
