New Delhi: A Delhi court Tuesday deferred the hearing on the interim bail pleas of two former Bharatiya Janata Party MPs — Faggan Singh Kulaste and Mahavir Singh Bhagora — till Sep 29 in the cash-for-votes scandal that rocked parliament during a trust vote in 2008.
Special Judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal deferred the matter after defence counsel Sidharth Luthra sought more time to argue on the bail application.
“Court may kindly list the bail plea for hearing on a further date,” counsel said while appearing for the two former MPs.
The court rejected the counsel’s plea who sought the hearing in the case Sep 19.
The court later deferred till Sep 15, the hearing on the interim bail plea of Amar Singh, 55, after he was admitted to hospital Monday evening.
