Moscow : A suspicious package found at the entrance to the RIA Novosti office building in Moscow triggered a bomb scare, police said.
The package, found Wednesday afternoon, did not contain explosives, they said.
Bomb disposal teams were called after the package was discovered. Dozens of staff were evacuated.
The building also houses the Russia Today TV channel and The Moscow News daily.
RIA Novosti is a state-owned news agency founded in 1941. The agency publishes news in the main European languages, as well as in Persian, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic.
