Islamabad : China has dedicated its embassy premises in Islamabad to Pakistan for a Media University, a minister said.
“The university will be established as soon as China shifts its embassy to (a) new building,” Federal Minister for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said Tuesday.
The minister said that the the university would benefit the media in Pakistan and it would further strengthen ties between the two countries, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.
She said that China’s role in the changing scenario was very important and the two-day visit by the Chinese deputy prime minister Meng Jianzhu was aimed at expressing solidarity with Pakistan.
