Chennai: Two and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Co Ltd closed last month with sales marginally down to 171,837 units as compared to sales logged during Nov 2011.
The company said in a statement that it sold 171,837 units (two wheelers 166,783, three wheelers 5,054) last month as against 175,535 units (two wheelers 172,829, three wheelers 2,706 units) in November 2011.
Total retail sales last month was around 185,000 units, up by 19 percent as compared to the same month last year.
The festival season sales reduced stocks at the dealer end to a considerable extent, the company added.
